Hi,
Can any one clarify how much space is in the 1st partition of an iphone. I believe that is where apple stores all operating system files. Is it 500 mb and then there is the 8 gb storage separate. Memory is 128 mb RAM right? Thanks. Tyrone |

The size of the root partition varies between different versions of the iPhone OS. When creating a custom ipsw, the size can be adjusted using pwnagetool. Generally around 525MB to 600MB is normal.
Memory is 128MB for all iPhones except the 3GS which has 256MB. |
