Cool Changing IP address on IPhone

I live in Canada, but in order to see some of the streaming content from American Networks (NBC, ABC, CBS), I need an american ip address for my iPhone. How do i do this, is there software, or do I manually do it? if so, how?

Use Hotspot Shield whenever you want to access this services. It is a free VPN service located in the US, so the stations "think" you are on the mainland. Plus it offers a level of security while connected to open hotspots (thats what it is made for ;-)

Thumbs up Hotspot Shield

I am presently using hotspot shield, and it works for the most part, but I used an American iTunes acct. to download the T.V.com app, and even with hotspot, it says "US only". So I thought maybe there is a manual way to change IPs. If so, and being a little green, I would love a tutorial. If you know anything, let me know please

Quick addition; the T.V.com app is on my iPhone, and works (except I can't do anything)

Why do you need to watch US tv if you're not in the US? why don't you use your computer instead in firefox connected through a proxy (in the options menu)

Hotspot shield is acting like a proxy - at least it should. It is a VPN tunnel so the server only gets the IP of the server - thats one in the US.

Any free proxy you'd recommend?
