I used to be a big iPhone fan and spend a lot of time reading here on the Hackingt0sh forum. I now wanted to give my girl this Sidekick 2008. Now I had trouble unlocking this phone. I don't want to spend 70 bucks on an unlock code, and these iSims do not work: cant receive calls and text messages.

I know I am not in the right place here, but I thought there are a lot of smart people here who know a lot about phones and about hacking, maybe someone can send me in the right direction. I personally do not know anything about hacking..

BTW: I am willing to pay 100 bucks for the one who can get a software unlock for this phone.
