i am in canada. we have rogers, which is the canadian at&t equivalent. they sell i phones, contracts etc
a year ago i purch and unlocked 2g i phone in usa.put in my rogers sim card, it has been working 100 % i now purchased, privately, a 3g, which was on 'rogers'. & on checking found seller had zero or near zero time on it. young lady who could not afford i put in my sim card & tried & made a call out & in and it worked fine do i really have to 'unlock' it ?? no doubt my sim card, will work and generate only my normal 'plan' with rogers i can 'sync' my contacts, etc already on my mac from my 2g & have all of the info on my 2g....sync'd to nu 3g. is there any need to 'unlock' the 3 g...or just use it the way it is ?? a dilemma & i don't have that knowledge base... if you are too busy to post....my e mail is amg1306@yahoo.com i would be very appreciative of a reply alexander1 Last edited by duck9000; 01-19-2009 at 02:02 PM. 1.) you should learn to write without the caps lock key pressed
2.) if it works, why alter it?
