MacNN: HighPoint intros RocketRAID 4311 controller

HighPoint Technologies has announced the RocketRAID 4311 PCI-Express x8 SAS RAID controller, with an Intel IOP348 processor. The 4311 is designed for the newest Mac Pro systems, and offers 256MB of DDR2 memory along with a single external SFF-8088 connector that supports up to four SAS or SATA hard drives.
