I wonder where all those guys with the soldering irons are at?? There used to be a huge "trend" to open up the 2G iPhones in hopes to unlock it. Has anyone taken the 3G apart to see if there is anyway we could hack into it?? Restore the FW, erase and reinstall the BB or BL??
I dont mind getting a damaged iPhone 3g on ebay and experimenting with it, however I have no idea where on the iPhone all those software are installed. How can I "download" it, erease it and reflash the EPROM chip with new data?? Does anyone in here know how to?? |

Is this a BB Downgrade solution, or more like the OEM Unlocked phones? Is there more info on this solution?

We rolled over and quit !!
![]() The technologies and components used in the iphone 'are' available, a soldering iron can remove them easily enough.... But these days, it's all software based, the hardware is just a bunch of 'software paths' in a package, and my 'Old School' soldering iron has given way to the 'New School' programmers & coders ![]() imouse :-) |
