Hi to all master of iphone.
i have iphone, no wifi no bt, no imei, no baseband etc....
i think my bootloader is corrupted because:
in 1.1.4:
-bootneuter stuck on " determining setting"
-ienew stuck on "waiting for data"
-ieraser stuck on "waiting for data" too.
i have try with ziphone too stuck on "attempt.."
so i have try to follow the tutorial of newwayarround on this forum, but in iunew, stuck before ask for connecting testpoint.(error sure to have erased first..)

so my question: is there an ultimate way for flash bootloader via testpoint?

At this point, your solution is replacing the communications board or find the way to reprogramming the Intel IC (outside the board, actually)

for me customer says he buy locked and unlock himself with ziphone.
maybe something wrong during bl downgrade in ziphone.....
but he doesn't said to me.
anyway, i don't know if you have a way to flash Bootloader if only bootrom is ok.I think yes (maybe i m wrong) but we need a tool, and for me this tool doesnt exist.

So you sold iPhone to someone and they are encountering the problems?
Geohot and stuff dont do personal favours, and he's now working for Google and hasn't done any iPhone stuff for a while.
It seems to be that, yes, something is corrupted, and crispains solution seems to be quite valid. It is unfortunate, ZiPhone is not a safe tool. BootNeuter is much safer (but still any bootloader flashing is dangerous)

I'm no hardware expert, but I would think that software won't make much of an impact on this situation (i may be wrong but i myself believe this is the case)

no i have sold nothing, i just want to help a friend.I know already flashing boot loader could be dangerous but i think a software for fix bootloader could be usefull for all. Sometimes you can solve this kind of problem via jtag, but maybe a way could be found by a17 testpoint.
I have read somewhere george is now working for google, i am happy for him
but maybe another smart guy can help .

Those guys probably won't respond to a personal request, and it's geohot that you would talk to about hardware exploits. Software probably wont fix this problem.

I suggest you go over to IRC and there someone like MuscleNerd may see your problem and help you (maybe). Just remember, DO NOT pm people without asking first in the main #iphone room, its IRC etiquette.

good luck, I hope your problem is fixed but emaling one of the high profile guys probably won't work. Like you can't email steve jobs asking if apple can make you an app to keep track of your blood levels.

By the way just imagine: if there is a way for write bl and baseband on 2g phone with only valid bootrom, i think will help for the futur...
