sam sir, thanks for taking this thread serious. And, Saralsth, since you work at Airtel, tell me frankly (dont mix up ur career), isn't Airtel and Vodafone doing unfair business with the iPhone ?

I mean, I understand they're not interested in subsidizing the iPhone. But, from what I've heard, a price like $700 is only for unlocked iPhones sold elsewhere in the world. Airtel is locking us inside their network and still milking out friggin' $700 for it.

P.S: If I've ever dreamt of anything in my life till now, its the iPhone. My dad agreed to buy me one if it was something like $200-300. But I can't get it now cuz you see, I hail from a middle class family. Damn. Also, I'm now expecting Android.

Your android should be coming out november via the HTC Dream if I remember, my friends prolly gonna get one so I'll get to play with it some.

But I love my iPhone :p

Hey, my friend for U.S agreed to send me an iPhone for $199 if I want. So, I wanna know if its possible to bypass unlocking ?

I mean, since iPhone is already available here via Vodafone/Airtel, if I put a Vodafone/Airtel simcard in the set, can I bypass unlocking ?
