I unlocked my iphone 2g to 2.0 and it has wap.voicestream.com in the apn for cellular data plan, is there a reason that my EDGE is not working, and that anytime i go to an application it says "Could no activate cellular data network"? I had blackberry plan, but called tmobile to switch to all internet package. Should I call tmobile about this? If i do, what phone should i tell them i have?

I´ve used winpwn 2.0.0.2 to unlock my 1st gen iphone and I have the same problem. EDGE not working.

try to go in the setting and reset all your network setting. then try to enter them again... I had couple of problem w/ that when I sync the old iphone running 1.1.4 to the new one on 2.0

Restoring is the best option..
