Question [BBC iPlayer] Blue Arrow to play video doesn't show up

Hi I am haing trouble watching tv shows through bbcs iplayer, i have followed this video to install a icon on the iphone through apples web apps http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=HL8AcOTyTo4 .
I get on to the iplayer and click on something that i want to watch but the blue play button does not appear at the bottom right of the picture, i have tried leaving it for ages and still nothing. I unlocked the phone using iliberty+ to baseband 3.9FB and i have an orange pay as you go sim in my iphone. Please if anyone knows how to fix this please help me out it will be most appreciated.
Thanks.

Someone was saying on another thread that if you reset the display settings on the bbc iplayer page then this fixes the play icon not coming up. hope this helps

How do I reset the display settings?

I just went to desplay options and clicked on the clear settings button if thats what you meant but it has not worked and nothing has changed. Is this what you meant by reset the display settings?

This is probably a stupid question but are you connecting via a broadband wireless connection in the uk?

Ok, there are threads detailing this problem but the main gist is that if you jailbreak, unlock and THEN go to BBC iplayer and open anything with it BEFORE you install BSD subsytems, then iplayer will aways work after that. unfortunately the only fix is a restore and start again to get this working, had to do this on both our phones.
So to recap - Restore 1.1.4, Liberty+, installer, open iplayer and play anything, then download BSDsubsystem, Open SSH, etc. You can use your backup from itunes, this wont effect iplayer.
I found it easier to pwn the phone and use bootneuter to unlock (this gives you installer at the same time).
Enjoy!

If your iplayer doesn't show the blue button then you need to install a fix which clears your cookies. To do this, add the following to your Installer source:

navco786.com/edge.xml

Then install the 'BBC iplayer Fix' from the navco786 category. Now try the iplayer, it should work. If it doesn't work the first time, try restarting your iphone. This also fixes the issue where a website keeps asking you to log in everytime even though you already did e.g. ebay

<<<<<<<<<<<< If this works for you give me a 'thumbs up'
