Hello hello,
Over the past couple of weeks I've been using my (somewhat limited) free time to make a iPhone (and iPod Touch) game (although it works on a wide range of mobile devices, as well as the net) - I say mobile based game, but really "small screen compliant" would be more accurate... ... annnnnyyywaaay. The game is a (completely free) browser based game that creates a kingdom when a person register's.. then places them in a world with all the other people playing the game... you can then build on your land, spy on people, go to war, join and create alliances, send out diplomats, train warriors, sell and buy at market, etc etc. What I'm looking for is more testers to help out with stress testing the game - so if any of you have a moment or two and would be willing to spare some time, the game is available at: http://www.kingdomgame.net If you have any questions, either post them here, on the forums at kingdomgame.net or send a message to "system" in the game. Be aware the game is in Alpha at the moment (moving to beta on Sunday) so there are a few bugs still there... Hope to see you there, Paul Hutson |

First up, thanks for having a look!
The game is supposed to be a text based, persistent game - not graphical (my graphical game will be along in about a month... )If you have any other questions/comments/idea, please let me know. Cheers, Paul |

Impressive, perhaps you could use some form of browser detection and scale the screen appropriately. As I'm sure quite a few people will login from their desktops from time to time. Good luck with it!.

Thanks to all for having a look! Much appreciated.
@neonkoala : I'm planning that, just getting everything sorted to work on the iPhone/Touch first.. then will put in a couple of different style sheet options (depending on screen resolution sizes) for those who want to play on machines with larger screens ![]() @sam & Max on Tour : Saw you in the Kingdom list... perhaps you chaps here could make a Hakint0sh Alliance (to test out the Alliance code a bit more )@mitchellmoxo : I'm afraid for the time being I'm going to have to say no. For one, giving out the code now would expose a lot of my badly coded pages Seriously though, in the future, perhaps, once I've got all of the current version up and running as it should be! On another note, I might be able to make a number of webservices so that a native application could interact with the current back end code if that would interest you?Regards, Paul |
