Anyone attempted the 1.1.1 update with a geohot unlocked phone? Shall I be the first?

wondering the same thing. anybody try it? I heard that the bb firmware was not flashed in this update.

• 8gb iPhone HW unlocked to T-mobile on day one (8/25/07).....died in May 2008 due to failed antenna hardware modification (Now it is a iPod Touch)
• Virginized and Unlocked to v1.1.1 on 10/19
• Now:Upgraded to 2.0 on T-mobile
• Discovered the t-zones $5.99 hack (thanks to syasses trick)
• upgrade to 16gb iPhone and pwned it to 2.0 on day one

of course that its flashed!! cames with a new version (i dont have checked this FW yet -- so i dont know which version of bb comes)

the real problem is not the unlock but the inability to perform jail break which means you cant activate. Even if the phone remains unlocked (very unlikly) or even if the hardware or software unlock methods work even on 1.1.1 the problem is that if you cant jailbreak/activate your phone you cant even iPod it or browse with it. You cant do ANYTHING. It seems that the iPod touch was a preview of things to come. Still I expect its hust a matter of time befoe some one figures out the jailbreak/actvation...and then we can see about unlocks.

Anyone try this yet ?

Would be helpful, as I don't want to be the first ;O
