Hi my 1.1.4 iphone, settings are not accessable .
When touching the settings icon, a page opens only to close down within a second
have been considering a restore, but i am worried ,do I lose all stuff like notes (i cant email them as cant access settings to allow setup email and installed programs etc
your guidance would be appreciated

I would say restore but if you want all all your settings back restore a back up. If problem persists after restoring back up them you should restore and start a new phone. Did you install any apps that modify settings or did this happen after you installed any apps at all?

i installed boss prefs, summerboard, and customise but have since uninstalled them , but with no change, ie I dont have access to any settings, incl email settings .I was emailing my notes to myself but now mail address has been changed....wasnt me I cant get in Haha , but I am pretty desparate to save my notes as I have written a serious amount of garb in them
can you access iphone file structure or settings via a pc i seem to only get i tunes or via my computer i can view only photos ???
