Hi,

Been a while since I posted here.

I've recently unlocked a 2G iphone with ziphone. The iPhone is running on 1.1.1 firmware, with baseband 04.04.05_G.

It's now not receiving SMS txts, but it will send txts. I can make and receive calls.

I've tried everything, even different programs such as liberty where I constantly get the error that it could not connect to the iPhone.

Anyone any ideas?

What you have a main OS fw 1.1.1 and Baseband from fw 1.1.4 - mismatch

Do a DFU restore with firmware 1.1.4 and use iLiberty to jailbreak and activate it.

1.1.4 is old as well ... so my suggestion is to DFU directly from 1.1.1 to 2.1.1 then use Quickpwn to jailbreak/activate and unlock it.

Don't use Ziphone. It's old and was never working properly. Ziphone domain have been sold to a scammer so stay away from ziphone alltogether.

Update to 2.2.x and run PwnageTool or QuickPwn instead.

Had to upgrade to 1.1.4 first of all, and then 2.1. I then used QuickPwn to do the jailbreak/activate and unlock.

I am not sure how come the infamous Ziphone is still around and people are testing their iPhone with it when thousands, (that's true, thousands) locked or screwed their phone with it.
there are som many other tools around that are proven to be more safe and reliable.
