Iphone 1.1.2 jailbroken, massive update help!
Hi guys, ive not been on here in ages, and ive really lost track of absolutely everything totally.
Ive got my 1.1.2 Jailbroken iphone 2g on o2 pay as you go. I want to update the firmware to the latest and best firmware so i can get all the new apps and also have installer as well, and be able to still use my o2 p.a.y.g sim card. What is the quickest and best way of doing this? My friend told me i should just go to itunes, update it to the latest version on itunes and ill jus be able to pop my sim card in and use it without having to do anything, is this true? and how then cuold i get installer on it? thanks for all the help in advance

All you need to do on a 2G iphone is restore to 2.2.1 firmware & the n use Quickpwn to jailbreak/unlock again.

so is 2.2.1 the newest iPhone version? And so if I just update on iTunes then it will automatically go to 2.2.1?
Also will all the phone numbers on my phone be deleted?? Thanks
