Hey guys,

I hope this is not a re-post, but I looked for a solution to my problem inhere, but couldn't find it. And I'm a little paniced, so sorry if so...

Today a friend updated my iPhone (boothloader 4.6) from 1.1.2 to 1.1.4 with iJailbreak.

After this update my touchscreen seemed dead at the bottom of the screen. (Can't even dial my pincode anymore)

Before the update it was working fine without any problems. (I'm using it for several months now) I've heard about hardware problems with the touchscreen, but I refuse to believe that by coinsidense a hardware problem appeared exáctly during this update... I'm convinced it's a software issue. At least I hope so...

I restored the iPhone several times via iTunes and did a hard reset, but no result at all... I also tried ZiPhone after, but also then the strip stayed dead...

Does anyone know what might have happened? And most important, can someone help me to get it fixed? I'm really bummed.
