Announcing iPlus 2.0b for iPhone firmware 1.1.4 *only*

What is iPlus?
-----------------

iPlus is a *fully automatic* tool for setting up your iPhone! For Windows and Mac OS X (intel/PPC)

It will downgrade the bootloader, unlock, jailbreak and activate the iPhone. And even better, it will also install the most important and common packages as well as several fixes.
with a custom payload for installing other packages.

Bootloader downgrading uses BL 3.9FakeBlank, so it is fully reversible.


Thanks for the Dev Team for the help with the ramdisk issues that made me revise the unlocking/downgrading scheme and lead to this new version. This should take care of the "Repaid Needed" issues.

Just rename the payload file to payload.zip and place it on the iPlus directory and you are ready to use it! Removing the payload file from the iPlus directory can be used to perform a simple jailbreak/activation/unlock (Installer will not be included). Other packages may be later using any tool that rely on the AFC2 interface (ex: iBrickr and iNdependence)

I've been looking at the payload archives and I noticed a few differences from the original payload.zip file and the payload_international.zip file (other than the international stuff):

- In the original payload you can see from Baseband firmware files. Why are they not present in the international payload?

- In the original paypload file you can see some YouTube activation files. Again, they are not in the international payload file.

- In the original payload file you can see Lockdownd.zip. Again not present in the international file.

- In the original payload file, I can see a file called br_kit.zip, looks like brazilian stuff. I thought the original payload did not include any international stuff.

Basically, my questions is the following (other than the ones above):

What are the main differences between the original and the international? Aside from the international support and AppSupport patch. Why is the original payload file bigger? I would think the international payload file would be bigger because it has all the extra languages.

Hope someone can answer before the day ends today.

I went through the rather tortured process to jailbreak 1.1.1, upgrade to 1.1.3, downgrade to 1.1.1, jailbreak, upgrade to 1.1.2, upgrade to 1.1.3, unlock. Whew!

The iPlus 2.0b - restore to 1.1.4 in iTunes, close iTunes and the Helper, run the terminal commands setting up iPlus, iPlus -u, 5 minutes later back up and running, run the iTunes backup, all going. FANTASTIC!

I looked at default payload and internation payload and they are not as what you described.

Both are indentical EXCEPT international payload has:
- folder patches
- international.tar

The default payload has file:
- br_kit.tar

And everything else same.

IT'S OFFICIAL!!! I finally got YouTube to work!!!!

Exactly like I suggested in the other post that my legitmate ATT Activation was in the way!!! and it was. After numerous attempts to make you tube work after iplus, I alomost put it up and call it the day. Thanks to SpinStorm suggestions of disconnecting the internet connection before DFU the phone and replacing my legit sim with non active ATT sim to complete the iPlus JB.

It works like a charm. For those of you who has a valid ATT account and jailbreaking AFTER you had activated in iTune and established the service with ATT, if your You Tube doesnt work then you have to do this. Email me if you want the detail of how to do it.

Aviegas, first of all thanks a lot for the great software. Used it a few times now and all of them worked like a charm. The thing is, it would be a lot better if you could put some options like iphone-tools. For example, iPlus jailbreak for me is the best one by far, and the most up to date. But i dont like re-allocating the font and ringtones. So if there was options to just jailbreak and activate, that would be awsome.
For example, if you type iplus and iplus -u, still do the same things, but if you type iplus more, then it could give some options.
This is just my idea. If there is a way to remove the reallocation of items editing the payload id really want to know.

I am trying to, but the links are so heavily edited out it is hard to guess them. I got it form iClarified and it IS as I described.

The Original payload zip file is 11.4MB and the international zip file is 6.61MB, is this correct?

The link is not heavily edited out. That's the way it is.
don't click on it, right click, copy location, paste to new browser window, remove spaces from r a p i d .....

default payload.zip = 11,677 KB
payload_international.zip = 9055 KB (Wrong .....)

ps: The correct payload_international.zip should be about 11,786 KB for iplus2.0b
if it's 9,xxx KB then that is the old international ...
