I cracked my iPhone screen and have to send it back to apple but using ziphone it had an opinion called Refrubish. It says I should use this if sending it back to apple, I didnt know it would have downgraded my bootloader to 3.9. So is there anyway shape or form I can get back to 4.6?

kinda looks like you may be screwed my friend, what exactly have you done to the phone in terms of unlocks, ie: what software, versions etc... have you used?

ok I might just do that but how likely is it that they don't check my BL, also if they find out I have a somewhat "hacked" phone will thus come back to haunt me?
I know I'm getting deep into these I just need those question to be a 100% positive. |

OK if it was 1.1.2 then it will have been 4.6BL at purchase, can you check your BL version now? or is the screen too knackered?
It is difficult to check bootloader version without 'Hardware info' or some other app so in an apple store they probably wouldn't question much, but if you're on at&t contract they could possibly trace serial number to your account if there was a discrepancy. Lets face it though are Apple really gonna bother checking, I think not.

I think no one knows a 100% answer.
Best thing to do would be to do a restore to 1.1.4 and take it to an apple store. They might check it and they might not. I have not heard of anybody denied by apple because their BL version did not match the serial number. But there is always a first.
