Hey Guys,
I don't really want to participate in this high quality discussion about who sucks and who does not. I unlocked my 1.1.2 phone with Ziphone. It was a bit circumstantial, but I guess because of my ignorance and not because of the malfunctioning of the program. At the end of it all, I had to upgrade to 1.1.4 officially through itunes, and then ziphone 2.5c unlocked my phone, and downgraded the bl to 3.9. (however I did not ask it to do so...)
Since then I had the youtube problem, but fixed it. Now I am trying to figure out another thing. I cant see the contacts on my home screen. I checked it with customize prg and it should be visible, but still it is not. Moreover, regardless to how I organize my home screen through customize, it remains the same all the time.
If anyone has any suggestions ur more then welcome to let me know.

Sorry for the posting again, but I figured the problem with the Contact app.
However, I would like to add another comment.
I guess you all know how useless the original SMS app is that comes with the Iphone. Therefore I installed SMSD which worked quite well with the 1.1.2. But now that I have 1.1.3, it is just crashing all the time. Any solution?

didnt do a thing to mine. i made the mistake of not having itunes updated to 7.6.2, but as soon as i did that i was unlocked within 5 minutes.

1005 functional baby! everything works like a charm

ok first off im not a noob and i have used all methods to unlock iphones include geos test point kk so stfu. secondly i have read more problems in these forums than good

about the ziphone. i personally have had one of them and i followed the directions the right way putting the phone in recovery mode, etc etc and now the phone has

no signal and cant download,and i did the refurbish method, did every thing over guess what still no service so um there.. this post if for the people who are having

problems with ziphone not for his crazy worshipers to post stupid crap about how people who are having problems are stupid. the purpose of a thread or this one is to

maybe have people help those with them problems .. and if i think ziphone code is crap i can say so. i don't have time to code these days cuz i have work and have no

time to indulge a hobby.. so please don't flame this post..if you want to pust how great ziphone is make your own post hailing it ok ...

i unlock many iphone, but i never mention how many..
and if you got that so much experience, why complain with ziphone?

I think that the biggest problem is that many ppl come from previous different jailbreaks, activations or unlocking methods.
Before go on 1.1.4 i took a look with terminal to my iphone (it come from 1.0.0 to 1.0.2 with manual unlocking, then rest of upgrades i did with iNdependence and Nate method to go to 1.1.3), i was suprised to verify that my iphone was litterally dirty of old folders of any program i installed etc, so i guess previous methods did same shit with system files and folders.
Before us ziphone just do a Restore (not upgrade, u must tear everything off from it), clean your iPhone and everything will work like a charm.

BTW there is no reason because ziphone should work on some iphones and not on other if they were all the same...

People bitching about unlock methods....don't use it then! People saying it's crap becuase one of their phones out of 50 are corrupted in some way. Don't use it then! Generally if anything goes wrong, rest assured it's USER ERROR. Again if you disagree and want to bitch about it, DON'T USE IT THEN! Look at the numbers of people that have has success with it.
