Hi,
while making some tests, I'm now stuck with "Repair Needed" message.

I've tried to restore to 1.0.2, 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 with no luck.
Independence says that is "unable to get bb version".

Do you have any hint??

Really interesting...

Seems I have the same problem as many of you here. I was in the process of downgrading to sw unlock 112 otb using geohots method, and during terminal I thought I froze and rebooted phone. I encountered error msg in Independence saying no bb found. Also tried restoring to 102, 111, and 112 and had error msg saying unable to restore.

Solution (so far):
Use iTunes 7.4, reboot phone using home and reset button. When recovery mode appears, click Restore (don't option click restore). iTunes will restore the phone with its own pack. This booted me out of brickmode, and under Independence says I had 113 version. Also receive a msg saying invalid sim. But able to downgrade to 111, and will try starting over by install apps oktoprep to upgrade back to 112. Everything seems to be working so far except the invalid sim msg.
