WHOA!!!

I just pressed home-sleep/wake button to reset my iPhone and now there's the 'Connect to iTunes' icon showing up??? WTF?

Can someone PLEASE help!? What did I do??

lol, just hit this thread because the same thing happened to me an hour ago. i fired up independence and that pushed it out of recovery mode easily, i'm going to wipe it one more time and try again, but am a little leery of 1.1.3 at this point, although is does feel faster i have seen a lot of weirdness, mine can all of sudden no longer connect to wifi networks at all, which is pretty disconcerting...

How many sources did you guys have in installer after doing this update? i only had one..

I just installed the 1.1.3 Jailbreak from DevTeam from the installer app. Everything went fine but I am unable to unistall summerboard and springboard doesn't have any of 1.1.3 features (no pages, no organizing etc). In the settings it says 1.1.3 but everything is the same as 1.1.2.

Is there a way to fix this?

I installed the "Dev Team's Soft 1.1.3 update" from the 3.0b10 installer app.

... it worked.

BUT

The icon rearrangement doesn't work, nor does lyrics, nor does adding bookmarks to home screen.

The dock style has changed but I don't get why I don't have most of the features!?!

I have a fully functional 1.1.3 with Dev Team release, but since I experienced an issue during my first upgrade to 1.1.3 I would like to share it.

I know this post is a little overwhelmed but I hope it may help some of you.

When I first upgraded to 1.1.3 using Dev Team method everything was working except I didn't have EDGE access. I am using a US 3.9BL unlocked iPhone with french operator Orange (Apple partner for the iPhone). Being on an official operator for the iPhone, I don't have access to EDGE settings in the Network menu. When I restarted the upgrade, I made sure to use EDGE first in 1.1.2 (which I didn't do the first time). And it worked, EDGE was available in 1.1.3.

I upgraded to 1.1.3 my iPhone yesterday using the softe upgrade method through Installer (from iClarified).
I have (or used to have ( 1.1.2 OTB jailbroken and unlocked with NextSIM III. EVERYTHING worked perfectly fine, but after the upgrade WiFi doesn't work any more. It can join the network, but the WiFi sign is not lit up and I can't access YouTube, e-mail, Safari... nothing!

All my applications are gone... and I can't do much without WiFi working.

Is there any solution to that?

I just hope someone will reply!!!

Hi guys... I have an iPhone 1.1.2 BL 4.6 jailbroken... In case I upgraded to 1.1.3 via installer, would i be able to be back to 1.1.2 in case it doesnt work???...

Also if you could tell me how to make a backup with WinSCP would be great... Thx

This can not be fixed without doing the jailbreak again, ie. first restoring to some version and then going back to a jailbroken 1.1.2, unless someone creates a tool that can be used for resizing a partition on iPhone (maybe one already exists?) In the Dev Team's release, the size of the disk image, from which the root partition is created, is only about 270 Mb. I manually re-created the Dev Team's disk image file in the iPhone and also transferred NateTrue's disk image to the phone to compare sizes in the device. Notice the difference in size.

In the leaked version the disk image size is correct, thus resulting in correctly sized / -partition

This was actually mentioned somewhere else also.

As the image is copied directly to the disk, the resulting disk will have the same size as the image that was used to create it.

I guess I'll just stick to 1.1.2 for now...
