Hello!
If i buy an iPhone now, which has 1.1.3 Firmware installed by default, will i be able to unlock it, or downgrade to 1.1.2? or is it better to keep it in the box, and wait for a proper 1.1.3 unlock after SDK releases? im sorry if this has been asked before. Plz Assist Regards |

After upgrading to Devteam 1.1.3 I saw that my phone now has 230 mb "other" according to iTunes. Is this normal? Sound pretty much to me...I have practically no programs installed and deleted everything before upgrading. Must be alot of junk lying somewhere but where? :S

I didn't use Nate Trues jailbreak so I don't think that fix applies for me :/

There is a new Bejeweled inspired gamed called iZoo. So I downloaded it thru installer. And due to copyright reasons, the shapes were animals instead of gems like Bejeweled. So i downloaded a mod to make it look like bejeweled and uploaded it. It worked fine. After about 1/2 hour, I woke the iphone up from Sleep mode and discovered I have very very low singnal. Barely a single bar. So I rebooted my iPhone and still it had the same problem. So, I tried Google Maps Locate and it worked. I thought maybe, I got lucky the first time. I restarted Google and tried again and it worked again. For the next 7 times I tried it, it worked every single time and I made sure I rebooted Google Maps and make it load up a area that is far far away from my actual location. On one side, I was happy Locate works but now, its an iPod touch. And then I remembered the Readme from the official Jailbreak from the Dev Team saying that if you dont get a signal, force reset your phone. So i held the power and home button untill the screen blacked out and booted it. It now has full signal but Locate isnt working. What do you guys think? I was thinking Locate only works with the new modem firmware? If only we can find a "bridge" between them enabling us to use both of them at the same time without losing any of its functionality.
Cheers. |

Dudes i really dont get it. I am doing every thing right ( i gues). But i hang on the first step with: scp -r ./* root@Iphone:/ after this command its doing all kinds of stuff that i can see in putty, after a while it says not enough space ? i have over 5 gb on my iphone free. i really dont get it. I copyd the jailbreak directory on the ROOT (not the root folder) of my iphone already... am i doing some thing some where wrong ?

If you dont have enough space and you run the 1st command via putty, you'll start seeing the "Not enough space" error at which point you're completely fucked on the 1.1.3 front without restoring to 1.1.2 /Jailbreaking and restarting the process. At least im my experience.
Didnt see anything else about fixing this thusfar in all these posts but thats not to say there isnt an easier solution. I can say after 2 painful hours of reworking my iPhone (had some near bricking incidents *thanks be to having both windows & a mac =P)I finally managed to get back to 1.1.2/JB So in short, be sure when you start you have enough space or know something I sure as hell didn't know

![]() Edit: I managed to put it in recovery mode. My phone was 1.1.1 OTB, JB, anysim 1.1, octoprep, 1.1.2, JB, anysim 1.1.2u, 1.1.3 JB dev team (fail). Now I think I should restore to 1.1.1, and repeat everything in the same order. Any suggestions? Last edited by tassos52; 01-27-2008 at 04:29 PM. |
