Hi All,

I believe, in all this hype about jailbreaking 1.1.3, we have forgotten about software unlock of 1.1.2.

I know the dev team doesn't owe it to us and they are not obligated, but I would request them to atleast let us know that should we be waiting for the software unlock for 1.1.2 or not. This way we can move on and find another solution.

This would be great help.

Sorry, it could be useless thread for some people because either they have their phone hardware unlocked or they are using *sim.

well i don't think it's useless.
i mean the guy's right, i'm unable to buy an Xsim card, they don't sell them here, and i live in lebanon, so i'm not sure abt the shipping thing over the net.
i just want to know, do i wait, is it going to come out, or should i move on with my life, find a way to buy that darn sim, or just plain crack the iphone open.
and i don't agree with pple criticizing some of us waiting for the unlock, if u were in our shoes, having ur iphone useless, u would feel just as frustrated.
There are more important issues in this world, but i can't help the fact that i'm really upset abt my phone, and all i'm left with is a razr that simply refuses to die.
that's all i'm saying.

They are working on it. I'm sure they are trying very hard. They don't know when or even IF they will succeed. They try, the fail, the try again, they fail again, the try even more, and maybe in the future they will succeed, and THEN they will tell us.

This isn't useless... I was thinking myself to post something like this post...
I'm desperate... I'm very afraid of opening mi iPhone but if the situation continues like this I won't have another choice than reunite the guts to open it... I don't know anything about iPhones hardware but i'll take the risk...

So please dev team give us some hope!

There are numberless posts on diverse forums on the Internet stating that the s/w unlock for the 1.1.2 OTB won't going to come ever...

I just don't know what to do... My only hope is that the dev team give us some information, I'm happy just with a "yes" or a "no"....

Guys, I don't want to sound negative or anything like that. I was like you guys about 3 days ago, refreshing the site for every new on any software unlock update.

The real thing is, just go for a hardware unlock, be brave, is not that hard, i don't have scratches and you'll be very happy at the end... with caution.

If you don't have a working phone, right now is because you don't want to have one. Sorry.
