Just to make clear:OpenSSH installed fine in your iphone?and now u can ssh without any problems?

With 1.1.2 OTB 4.6BL jailbroken then updated to 1.1.3 with ibrickr no problems running stealthsim as well.

Let me start by saying I am a total n00b. I have a question that I haven't seen asked yet.

I have a 1.1.2 otb that is "legally" activated with an at&t sim.
It was upgraded to have the 1.1.3 software.

Can I jailbreak this phone?

Is it recomended to update now? to 1.1.3?

Sorted.... this problem was something to do with my Vista Laptop, Ive just run it again on Std Windows PC running XP and its working

Problems I noticed (had 1.1.1 jailbroken before)

1. Stock Ringtones don't appear to work anymore (but click and new email type system sounds do work)
2. iPod will not play music purchased from iTunes (however, mp3 files do play).
3. If you try to play a purchased song, it screws up the sound output, and you have to go into sound settings and toggle something that makes a sound in order to make the sound output work for mp3 files (but iTunes purchased songs still don't work).

In other words, this jailbreak kinda sucks... so don't do it yet.

-has anyone had success with T-mobile edge settings working?
-is it recommended to uninstall all apps before doing this?

i ask for both carriers cuz i hack my friends phone and hes ATT
also does ibrickr download the stuff to its directory or somewhere else because i already have the 1.1.3.ipsw file and it would take a year to download again

i ran ibrickr and it ran through all the steps and said to go and run the 1.1.3 soft update in installer however i cannot find it in installer. i have even removed all other sources and it desfinately isn't there.

I upgraded from 1.1.2 and didn't experience any of these issues. Could the problems be coming from the 1.1.1 updaters? With 1.1.2, I haven't seen any issues...

I finally did it, now i want to go back. I am unable to add a new gmail account. Could someone else pls try to add a gmail account and let me know if it works for you.
