OK, so this is coming from someone who has unlocked A LOT of iphones so far, so I guess I´m REALLY stuck right now:
I have a week 38 Iphone, currently on the following versions: FW 1.1.2(3B48b) Baseband 04.02.13_G The phone is unlocked using anysim, it won´t book into the carrier network, though. This happened right from the beginning, with any of the firmware versions I tried. I tried the olde 1.0.2 unlock / virginizing thing: network lost. I tried the 1.1.1 update-baseband-downgrade thing: network lost. Heck, I even tried the olde oktoprep/1.1.2 combo, which is why the device is on 1.1.2 right now, but even here, all to no avail: I keep getting network lost errors and can not make or receive calls and/or txts. It accepts my SIM Card alright, lists the available networks, but can´t book into any of them. The cell network indicator in the upper left corner shows either zero bars or "No Service". The message I do get occasionally: "Network Lost - Your selected network is no longer available. You can choose a new network in the phone settings. - Dismiss / Settings" Has anyone ever encountered anything like this ? My guess is: Some kind of hardware glitch. To my knowledge, this particular Iphone has never really worked for long. My second guess is: Something in the baseband is really messed up, beyond repair by means of multiple downgrade-upgrade cycles ? Truth is, I dont have an answer right now. Any help would be appreciated ! |

I have the same problem too.. unlocked several phones and i got stuck with one with the same description. I can't even view the network list now after i changed between the firmwares.
I was sometimes dropped from the network the first time i unlocked it til it totally went fried when i tried to downgrade the baseband |
