If you read the document it states:
"About 1.1.2 (out of the box) iPhones This will NOT work with iPhones that originally came with firmware 1.1.2 (mainly phones sold in Europe). These phones use a different bootloader and god knows what happens if you try to restore older firmware on them. You will not be able to "downgrade" the firmware on these phones because current tools will not be able to write to the baseband BECAUSE the bootloader has changed. We first need a new set of tools to do that." So no, don't do it, this is what we (OTB 1.1.2) are waiting for! 1.1.3 would of come with a baseband upgrade anyway. From what I know you should NOT of upgraded... now I think you have to wait for the next version of firmware if you need to use a non approved mobile provider. Why do you want to downgrade the baseband anyway? |
