Needed a bit of help.
I bought a 1.1.2 OTB for a relative in India and have already sent it. Since the software unlock is no where in sight fot the next month atleast, i have decided to go for nextsim v5.
Now 1 problem is that for the jailbreak process we need wifi, but the place in india where my relative lives, he doest have any wifi hot sopts or any wifi at all available.
I came across iDemocracy which doesnt need wifi. Please let me know if i can use this method of jailbreak to use WITH next sim. And if yes, does it contain iworld?

i dont want to create another thread in the sim solution section...
so i shall ask my 2nd question here as well....

Is next sim good? are turbo sim/stealth sim much better??
does next sim drain battery or destroy battery life as claimed by sum turbosim users?
is nextsim worth it ebing much cheaper? is 1 being penny wise and pound foolish by getting sext sim?

as far as i know jailbreaking with idemocracy should be no problem, just read the tutorials on their site

but is this jailbreak compatible with nextsim?? what about iworld?? do i need to download sumthing else for iworld?

jailbreaking is universal, compatible with everything

and wat about iworld... is it a seperate app? or is it included wid all jailbreaks?

I attempted idemocracy all thier methods require wi fi. even the one that states it is wi fi less.

Downgrade to 1.0.2 and use iBrickr to jailbreak.

even the method that claims to be wifi less uses wifi? wow thats strange

iBrickr doesn't require WiFi, the only thing you need is to connect the iPhone to a computer. You have to install iWorld after you jailbreak.

1. Put iPhone in DFU mode

2 Restore with 1.0.2 restore firmware

3. Use iBrickr to kick him out of DFU mode and to jailbreak him.

4 Use iDemocracy to activate.

5. Install Installer via iBrickr

6. Now we got a little problem, you have to install oktoprep from a local source Someone should be able to help you with that.

7 Note After you install oktoprep upgrade to 1.1.2 and run 1.1.2 jailbreak.
