I've read a ton of posts on numerous forums and all of them have failed for me. I started with a 1.1.1 iPhone, downgraded and virginized to 1.0.2 and have been unable to find a guide to walk me through a successful upgrade. I'd like to get to 1.1.2, but I'll settle for 1.1.1.

My current configuration is:

Software: 1.0.2 (1C28)
Firmware: 3.14.08_G
Bootloader: 3.9_M3S2

Which upgrade guide would you suggest?

I have an unlocked 1.0.2 iPhone too. Did you update yours to 1.1.1?

Did you "virginize" it, update it to 1.1.1 and then unlock it again?

How did you update it to 1.1.1 since the current update on iTunes is for 1.1.2?

judging from your post you haven't done much reading. I spent a good 8 hours researching but the link famac posted above broke it down extremly well. I would suggest reading it entirely 3-4 times and use it to mod however you'd like. The post answers all your questions, and yes , I virginized my 1.0.2 then upgraded then unlocked.
