Okay, I had a Iphone 1.1.1 version originally and downgraded to 1.0.2, I believe my modem firmware is still 04.01.13g but i am not sure because it is missing in my general settings (i don't know where it went). I used iunlockr and failed to unlock it...it said i needed an approved sim, i then used anysim and still failed, i still got the same message of needing an approved sim. I would like restore my ipod to factory setting without bricking my phone, I believe that is virginizing the iphone, I don't know which tutorial to follow because most of them are iphones that are in 1.0.2 successfully unlocked, I have a 1.0.2 and don't know what my firmware is exactly (probably 04.01.13g). Can someone please help! I would like to start fresh from 1.1.1 and unlock it from there.

it says that "Make sure Modem firmware is 03.14.08_G. Check this in Settings → General → About" before you can virginize

However, I cannot even see my modem firmware in about, but I can see that it is 1.0.2. I believe I have 1.0.2 and modem firmware 04.01.13g , How can i virginize it with this firmware and baseband.

If you want to Virginize it and are not sure which FW and BB has...

Click on Versions
Did that work?
At least for the BB, as for FW you know you have 1.0.2 right.

You then,might want to add http://i.unlock.no source on Installer.
Go to Unlocking Tools
If you have a 3.14.08_G Baseband use the The Virginizer 0.3x (The Firmware doesnt matter)
If you do have a 4.01.13_G use The Virginizer

for some reason, i cannot dial anymore, when i press call nothing happens, and there is not dialing sound when i press the buttons either...do you know whats wrong? is this considered "bricking" the phone?

it doesn't say i have an unapproved sim anymore either when i insert t-mobiles sim card

also what is so difficult about givin threads a very clear name? if everyone called their threads "please help!" or similar, what weird forum would this be? c´mon!
