French Orange 1.2 ipsw for Swiss Orange Sim

I'm on Orange Switzerland, once the French iPhone is out, can I restore with the French Orange ipsw to use my Swiss card? Does that make sense?

give it a try but most likely it will NOT work. orange france and orange schweiz have different network id's...

I don't think it will work. If it did, people wouldn't have to unlock their US iPhone to use it on T-Mobile USA because T-Mobile Germany is an approved operator.
