Hello, my apologies if this has already been posted. If it has I will take a link and just go away quietly:p . I have been working on downgrading my iPhone from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1. I have done the restore to 1.1.1 and my phone is now in recovery mode. The guide I have read here says I simply have to turn on independence 1.2.5 and it will restore the phone to 1.1.1. So I have a problem. When I open iTunes first it will recognize it recovery mode, but independence says its "Disconnected:Waiting for iPhone". When I launch independence first is says "Connected to iPhone in recovery mode", but iTunes won't recognize the iPhone. (I am running iTunes 7.4.2). So anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

try upgrading iTunes.

Independence 1.2.5 seems to want to run on 7.4.2. Am I mistaken here somewhere?

I used the beta version 1.3 of independence and I was able to get it to work. Thanks guys.
