I dont get what you mean by stop the bouncing? How do you do that exactly?

I have updagraded to 1.1.2 and downgraded and my independence does not have control at all it just crashes pretty much instantaneously.

thank you.

I used the version before the latest for this. The new latest version of apptapp didnt seem to work to jailbreak on the 2nd attempt.

In terms of finding apptapp - man, its time you learnt how to use Google!!

Ok I think I'm going insane. For some reason, I can't get the iPhone to downgrade back to 1.1.1. I let the entire thing go through the process from the first post, but when I get the error and the phone sits in DFU mode, I open up iNdependence 1.2.5 and it just sits there and does nothing. I am absolutely clueless on what to do now, but I've spent four hours trying to get around this thing and for now I've resigned to bed. Someone, please help me!!!!!!!!! I'm going insane this is so frustrating. It took me a second to break into every other version!

I got 1.1.2 UK BNIB

.downgrade to 1.1.1 OK
.downgrade to 1.0.2 ERROR 1 (not start even, tru force to DFU not help)

.update to 1.1.2 (from file) downgrade to 1.0.2 OK
. jailbreak, bsd, ssh
. putty chmod +x ieraser
when I type "ieraser" (i have 2 versions - 15kb v1 and 20kb v2) with seczones
from 4.02 it starts and after 5s got mesage -"hopefully baseband erased"
but when I bbupdater -v I have STILL 04.02

I downgraded to 1.1.1 and the iphone is sitting at the DFU screen (wire --> itunes logo), so I closed iTunes and opened up iNdependence, only to see it crash repeatedly. So i tried keeping iTunes open and opening iNdependence, and now iNdependence is just sitting there wait the status saying "Disconnected: waiting for iPhone." Is there anything I can do?!?!?!?!

Edit: I also can't "virginize" the iPhone because when I try to downgrade again to firmware 1.0.2, I get the unknown error code (1), and I cant do it through independence either because the program simply isn't recognizing the phone.

What we need is the following:

1. Descriptive guide to Kick out of DFU by MAC software on 1.1.1 after restoring from 1.1.2

2. Descriptive guide to Kick out of DFU by Win PC software on 1.1.1 after restoring from 1.1.2

Wink

for those on a mac:

download iNdependence 1.3 beta 2

if you open the folder it comes in it gives u install instructions if u dont dwnload AND install iNdependence it will jus fail everytime.

once instaled open after itunes n it kicks out of DFU mode

so i now have 1.1.1 iPhone jailbroken perfectly everything working except the phone lol

so does anyone know how to unlock 1.1.1 to works with any sim card? i have "SimFree" and "anySim" on my home screen neither will unlock

helllppppp lol
