THIS IPHONE MESS GETS MORE CONFUSING THE MORE INFO I GET.
I have both "iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw" & "iPhone1,1_1.0.2_1C28_Restore.ipsw" files on my windows desktop. I did the firmware downgrade on iTunes from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 with the error (1015) However, the iNdependence version 1.2.5 does not do anything whatsoever when i opened that program up on my mac. (im using a black macbook and windows Xp for this whole thing connecting my iPhone back and forth between the two due to the .exe and .dmg programs that are required. this hasnt been an issue so far) so i got the iNdependence v 1.3.1 and this too just sits in this ever going cycle of "Status: Disconnected: waiting for iPhone" now, if the iPhone is turned on (itll have the plug into iTunes icon displayed) then iNdependence wont even work! it will crash as soon as i open it. yet it wont when the iPhone is off but it produces no results. this is beyond frustrating and theres no help for it. someone please help. I do not want to upgrade the phone to 1.1.3 like iTunes is telling me to when im prompted to restore it. i want to downgrade to 1.0.2 next (which i tried just for the hell of it after i got bored trying to get all the other stuff here to work) and iTunes doesnt let me do that the same way i did it with 1.1.1 (shift+restore in iTunes) it gives me error code (1) Is there anyway around these problems? -jACOB P.S. over 20 mins later INdependence still reads: "Status: Disconnected: waiting for iPhone" iPhone still stuck in recovery mode.. |
