I followed the sticky guide at the top of the forum to unlock/activate my new iPhone which is running 1.1.1 of the firmware. Everything seems to be working fine apart from the iPod function which when you touch the "iPod" opens up and then returns after a few seconds to the main iPhone menu.

I'm using iTunes 7.5 and it shows that there is two songs and a video (the amount that should be there) on the iPhone so that side appears correct.

Any ideas/suggestions? I'd be glad to be told I'm retarded if it turns out to be a simple issue.
