CANNOT RECEIVE SMS FROM <5 digit numbers??

Hey many of us are not able to receive sms from our banks, carrier sms promos and stuff who send mesg with no numbers or 4 digit numbers on the unlocked Iphone...

Does any1 have fix for it??

This is a huge problem. Now we don't get MMS notification since it's from like 501, or whatever...

I've already received SMS from my carrier, and from a 5/4 digit number...
carrier TIM sent me a SMS talking about a service... its number *144
fw 1.1.1 unlocked with anysim... previously unlocked with anysim 1.0.2, revirginized etc...

I think firmware 1.1.1 added support for SMS from alphanumeric senders (and shorter numbers).

hey even i have a 1.02 unlocked with anysim...i c u have updated to 1.11 howz it compared to 1.02..what method did u use...can u help me do it..1st of all is it worth t upgrade???

This is linked to the flash SMS problem which is being discussed in dozens of threads already... No solution yet.
