Followed the instructions for it, everything is working but i have the 300mb problem.

I had two folders.

Media
OldMedia

deleted Media, renamed OldMedia to Media and reboot the phone.

No luck...what else is there I can do?

make sure to reboot 4 times as one of the carnival steps is to remove the simlink which is the 300mb issue.

if you are ok with using openssh, you can install the bsd systems, and download idemocracy 1.1.1 and there is a 'remove symlink' button that will take care of everything for you.

i highly recommend idemocracy, it installs openssh, bsd, installer, anysim, removes any sim, and removes the symlink. i use it in conjuction with carnival so i dont have to down grade an OOTB phone before unlock and the total process is about 20 mins.

I have the same problem after revirginize and update to 1.1.1 and use carnabal them when i try to run any sim dont do anything and i notice the 300mb on the about tap i run touchfree and viola my 7.3gb appear. By the way for the people having problem with the imei 0049 just take the sim card out hold the wake bottom slide to turn of turn on again and check you imei them put you sim back.

Had the same problem... used CARNAVAL... rebooted every time..
Fixed by restoring and using touchfree+anysim1.1

my iphone was screwed so i have to retore to 1.1.1 and now trying to unlock again.

do you have the 300meg issue after using touchfree+anysim1.1??

If you can SSH to your phone, do it.
All you need to do is delete the 'Media' folder and rename the 'Media.old' or 'Mediabackup' (it's different for whatever program you used, so you might see another name) to Media and reboot. That fixes it.

It happened to me as well, I did a restored and using the Touchfree to get it activated since already had anysim unlocked.

Also if you activate iphone with touchfree, it would allow you to use iBrickr .91
with out asking you to downgrade or freed your iphone.

If using other method eg. carnival or idemocracy, iBrickr won't read your phone.
