Hi,
I have another minicom question, after I figured out how to come into the minicom. But my Terminal says the following: # minicom minicom: WARNING: configuration file not found, using defaults minicom: cannot open /dev/modem: No such file or directory I wanīt to revirginize and upgrade to 1.1.1, but Iīm not sure with my unlock count. So I first want to check that before I damage or brick my phone. What is good to upgrade: 1,2,3,4,5 ??? I rode much here in hackint0sh but found no clear answer. So I just post this in hope to get a result. Greetz Alex

- you have to shutdown commcenter
- minicom -s - select the serial interface as /dev/tty.baseband when you exit out of the config screen (DOn't exit minicom), you are good to go. - when done, exit minicom - restart commcenter. |

How do I exit the config screen? And how can I type commands in minicom? I think it is a full new area for me . . . ???

Yes but I rode on the site from iPhone Elite . . . that the NCK Counter resets when you virginize.
I just didnīt want a iBrick.

When you run the command to check, it usually returns more information than just that. I don't know what that means. Since you are going re-virgin it, it's better to ask in the Elite forum to find out. Honestly, I cannot say yes/no re-virgin.
Just make sure that you re-virgin when you know it's necessary. I see so many posts in the past few days where everyone is talking & doing it. Some people cannot unlock and immediately they jumps to the re-virgin conclusion. BTW, i did revirgin my phone after serious consideration and reading. What I know is: - 1.0.2 unlocked with old anySIM or other variants - need to revirgin to go to 1.1.1 - 1.0.2 unlocked with old anySIM and bricked when update to 1.1.1 - need to revirgin - 1.0.2 unlocked with IPSF - use new IPSM to unlock/fix baseband and go to 1.1.1 I think some people in this group tried to use anySIM 1.1. I don't know if this will work - 1.0.2 OTB phone - use anySIM 1.1 (people like to call it anySIM 1.1.1, i don't know why) to unlocked. Then upgrade to 1.1.1 (no need to unlock again) - 1.1.1 OTB phone - use anySIM 1.1 to unlock Those are parameters that I use to decide re-virgin or not. There are people with IMEI 0049...., I don't know why and know how to fix it. |
