Hi,

The 2 first steps in iDemocracy v1.2 worked well and also the ssh installation but when putty is automatically launched and tries to connect to the phone - it gets a "connection refused" reply and then it all fails from that point.
I verified that the iphone replies to ping before the BSD subsystem installation begins (there where it fails).
I can't SSH to the iphone myself - conn refused.
Maybe it's because I used to have ssh server installed on my unlocked 1.0.2 (downgraded from the original 1.1.1) and I set the service to off. If so - how do I turn it back on?

Everybody I have an update and 2 questions:

Update
I overcame the problem I posted not long ago by restoring the iphone. Then the process went well.

Now I have 2 other issues on the unlocked unbricked 1.1.1:
1. iDemocracy installs some kind of an SSH server. It is up all the time eating battery. How do I remove it (I installed openSSH that I can turn off from the services app)?

2. I installed Summerboard but I still can't get the vertical scroll in the menu screen. Why? How do I solve it?

Step 4: Before you start, backup this file before editing it. Then download and open /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.update.plist in a text editor and remove any section containing dropbear references. Be very careful when editing this file as it can cause problems if damaged. Then upload the file replacing the original (making sure your backup is intact).
Step 5: Reboot the iPod touch/iPhone. You should now be running just one SSH server.

You should also consider installing Services.app from Installer.app and turning SSH off when you don’t need it, some have claimed that it drains your battery fairly quickly.

hi, i do all, when i go with the iphone to htttp://jailbreakme.com install the soft, the phone come back to the slide bar and then the iphone call me, i answer 2 seconds, then i power off the phone, last i power on, (just like the video tutorial), but the phone still on the activation screen, can somebody help me?
