The server has been taken down, I too was in the middle of the process so am stuck with essantially an iBrick until someone hosts a new server...

hey guys, i have been follwing these steps and have finished the first 2...i am just about to go on to updating to 1.1.1....but after "virginizing" the phone i dont have reception and am not hooked up to my carrier. is it safe to continue? or have i done something wrong and need to go back??

I have completed the steps on the guide and when finish I get:
Incorrect SIM
Insert an unlocked and valid SIM to Activate iPhone

I have inserted the original SIM that came with my iPhone and restore to 1.1.1 And I get the same error: Incorrect SIM
Insert an unlocked and valid SIM to Activate iPhone

I make a fresh restore again and I get the same: Insert a Valid and unlocked SIM to Activate

Can anybody here help me please. I hope that I don't ruin my iPhone. When I take out the SIM from my iPhone it look a correct IMEI number.


And my second problem is to Jaibreaking 1.1.1:
After I setup my WI-FI and go to http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com i Get the follow error:
Safari Could not open the page because the server stopped responding

I try yo open any other page in safari and the page is loaded without problem. What's happen here?

What I do now?
