Btw, what happens if i do a new restore in iTunes. Do I have to make every step again? Or can i skip anything? And btw, there are a folder left from the touchfree, is it safe to delete it from the iphone?

If anyone else is having problem with their EDGE APN resetting after restarting Iphone, you can use these instructions to fix. I had this problem, and fixed it using these instructions.

backup the UnknownCarrier.plist file (just in case)

after resolving the issue i had with the wifi connection, im now sending this on my new unlocked 1.1.1 iphone on tmobile usa. Only thing i still have to do is activate youtube.

Maybe I am missing the obvious, but after I dial *#307# my iphone starts ringing but do not see "Answer" - only cancel and call - any ideas - thanks so much...

try turning off itunes, i had the same problem ( it does pop up but disappears waaay too fast) that's what did it for me

After ALL the Questions and Confusion...My phone is updated to 1.1.1 and Unlocked.

After all the Updates..the guide works well...(less Confusion for noobs like me)

dial *#307# and when it starts ringing press 0 then call. Accept or decline buttons should appear. I spent ages trying to get past this stage until I found this in the forums.

Dial *#307# and press call. Then press 0 and call, which should bring up the 'accept' and 'decline' buttons. I spent ages at this stage before I found the answer in the forums.

when this happens, hit the little delete button on the top right untill you have cleared the *#307# and enter 0, then hit call. Then hit accept, hold, decline.
