i'm getting 5 iphones this sunday.. ill try that touchfree again.. i've never got an error tho.

sorry another noob questions:

1. you dont connect your phone to PC with cable? only with wifi? if connected with cable, could you add when (if there is parts where you must not be connected with cable).

2. do you have SIM card in the phone whole time?

3. theres no info that you should kill ituneshelper from taskbar, could you add that?

ur iphone has to be pluged in when u r doing step two

Interesting, I wonder if a similar problem exists with WindowsXP??
Unfortunately there is no option that I can find to check/change the .net framework configuration.

I tried the guide(s) twice, but could never get past step 2 of touchfree...
(wound up having to downgrade and reflash the baseband to make it useable again.)

EDIT: TouchFree-alpha worked liked a champ!

Just for reference....1.0 upgraded to 1.02 unlocked w/ AnySIM1.1
Failed update to 1.1.1 (couldn't activate), downgraded 1.0.2, re-unlocked
Now updated to 1.1.1 thanks to TouchFree!!!

touchfree error hmmmm.... Hey people I guess you got netframework right? If so go to next step and make an update via windows update, because my touchfree never gave me error after making a simple windows update, give a try huh, good luck.

I'm getting the same thing, touchfree gets stuck at Step 2. I've got .NET Framework 3.0 installed and every other requirement that touchfree needs. I don't understand why it won't work.
