Really looking forward to a method for the unlocked 1.0.2 !!

I read all these successtories and i am getting jealous!

Hi,
I tried the new AnySim 1.1.1 in my 1.1.1 downgraded to 1.0.2 (only firmware) (Not Unlocked)
AnySim said the Unlock was successful but the phone say "incorrect sim-Please connecto Itunes to Re-activate iPhone"

I simply dragged the AnySim.app to my applications folder on the phone using Fugu.
My phone was previously activated using Independence.

Am doing something wrong here or am I just unlocky? This is the second phone that I got (one is suffering from "No Service" Cancer)

UPDATE:

It worked!!!
just used Independence 1.2.3 to activate with new sim card and voila!! it works!!

I have done everything correctly, I have tried following the terminal method and installing it from within iNdependence. I can see it in "Users" and when I open cyberduck anysim.app is in Applications however I cannot see it on the springboard.

Does anyone have any ideas or can help me out here?

I have been looking on the net for over an hour and cannot find anything or anyone with the same problem.


[EDIT] Found my answer: I used iNdependence 1.2.2 and I needed to run the SpringBoardPatcher in order for applications to show up.

Ok guys, I just unlocked a out of the box 1.1.1 (week 39) iPhone.

Followed instructions in Independence.
That is a little tedious and will take about 30 - 40 mins.

Once you managed to get AnySim 1.2 onto your phone, it just takes a swipe and about 5 minutes and the phone will be unlocked!
