Talking compatibility and advice on i7 hardware.

hey guys,

my first post and i am diving into the mac scene.
i had a few questions before i start and i wanted some advice from the veterans and pros that have done this. but before i start with questions here is the technical specs of the machine i currently have.

CPU = intel core i7 920 2.67ghz
MOBO = asus P6T
ram = corsair dominator ddr3 1600hmz TR3X3G1600C8D PC3-12800 3GB 8-8-8-24
VIDEO = asus eah4870 dk radeon 4870 512ddr5
Hard drive1 = WD Caviar Blue SATA 500 GB SATA 3 Gb/s, 16 MB Cache, 7200 RPM
Hard drive2 = WD Caviar Blue SATA 500 GB SATA 3 Gb/s, 16 MB Cache, 7200 RPM
Network Card = onboard realtek pcie gbe family controller
Wireless Network Card = dlink wda-2320 desktop adapter
Soundcard = onboard realtek high definition audio
optical drive = tsst corp cddvdw sh-s223f/Samsung SH-S223F/BEBE SATA Black 22X DVD-Writer OEM

now based on what i have in my machine is there anything that is not compatible at all? if so what would i need changed? is it possible to dual boot with vista64? now i'm not a noob so i do understand technical terms but i am unsure which direction i should be going with this project.

any advice and help is appreciated.

THANKS!
