Comparison chart between intel pentium D 920 & 930

But I've heard some people say that the 930 OC's easier.

I've heard plenty say they overclock the same... you can get either to 4GHz on air if you have a good board.

I'm actually looking at building a PD system but I want the P5WD2-E board for the 975X chipset but I doubt its supported.

I've seen people getting the 920 up to 4GHz EASY using a P5WD2-E or P5WD2-Premium board.

Its pretty sad that Intel chips lose out to AMD on all retail configurations (hell the 950 is slower than the 3800+ in a lot of things, come on now!) and you have to overclock them to all hell in order to make them competitive. Even at 4GHz, the PD still loses to the FX-60 and if you want to talk about a loss... get an Opty 165 and give it a 320FSB...

The 930 OC's easier in the way that you get it to run at 4006 Mhz at 1067.5 bus speed.
The 920 needs way over 1100 to get to the same level, and that may be a problem with certain motherboards.
