Question 1st try @ Hackintosh - will these specs work?

Hello all. n00b alert.

I've searched and read around a bit but I can't quite figure whether the following specs should work.

Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P (rev. 2) [BIOS F12]
Intel Core2 Duo E8200
Sapphire Toxic HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 PCI-E
Corsair DDR2 800 4 x 1 GB
WDC WD6400AAKS
Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-215

A more couple of questions:
  • Will things go smoother if I use a GeForce 8600GT instead?
  • Will this work with Snow Leopard? I have a SL DVD but I also have a 10.5.6 DVD - which way should I go for the path of least resistance?

Thanks in advance!
