TRENDnet Gigabit PCI Adapter (Want/Need a 2nd ethernet)

OCZ OCZ3RPR1800LV6GK 6 GB DDR3 PC3-14400 1800MHz Reaper HPC Triple Channel Kit

Cooler Master V8 Nickel Plated Copper Base Aluminum Fins 8 Heatpipes Core i7 1366 CPU Cooler - (RR-UV8-XBU1-GP)

Samsung Internal Half Height DVD-W Supermulti SATA 22X Lightscribe (Black)

Antec Nine Hundred Steel ATX Ultimate Gamer PC Case (Black)

Add in a 64gb SSD off ebay and a student priced version of windows7pro and 2tb of storage. I'll be dual booting the SSD and formatting the 2TB as NTFS so both OS can view and not have the 4gb limit of fat32.

See any problems? Thanks!

So I guess socket 775 is not the only one that works with OS X? I think thats what they have in a Mac Pro.

Is vanilla 10.5 (Leopard) only and not 10.6 (Snow Leopard)?

Oh, sorry to be a noob lol. Obviously I'm just now learning Mac terminology.

Having the vanilla kernel automatically supported by the hardware configuration removes the dependency for a Hackintosh user to acquire a modified distro of OS X, right? If this is the case, this is useful for updating OS X with downloads from apple that modify your kernel and threaten screwing up your distro.

Well all distros use Vanilla kernel by default, they add patched distros for AMD system or others unsupported systems by Apple, like Pentium D, Dual Core, etc.

All of them can update but have to patch the kernel all the time but vanilla users
