Default ASUS M2N68 mobo

Hello.

First of all, Im new to this forum and have had a look around now for some hours, seems quite nice!

Now to the obvious problems Im having:
Im having some trouble booting the installation of the os.
I've tried some dists like kalyway and idneb.

Im using
ASUS M2N68 630a mobo with
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+
two kingston DDR HyperX PC 8500 2048MB CL5
Radeon HD2900pro 512MB GDDR3
Samsung SpinPoint F1 750GB SATA2

I get the still waiting for root device.

I saw the thread -_- P5Q PRO & MAC OS X Leopard 10.6 (10A432 ) Retail -_- - InsanelyMac Forum

and was wondering if that guide supports my mobo?

many thanks

Tonmi
