I want to buy a DELL Studio XPS desktop PC quite soon.

It uses the latest Intel Core Technology.

I want to know if that could work with iDeneb or an other installation is working

Here are my sepcs.


i7-Prozessor 920 (2,66 GHz, 8 MB Cache, 4,8 GT/s
12 GB RAM
ATI® Radeon® 4850-Grafikkarte mit 512 MB

Nope with core i7 you need to install Retail OSX to get all cores working, or maybe try a distro, but just gonna get one core... but its pointless

not really i read on a fourm by you I think. that you can just tweak the bios,
and can you help me 2. im looking for a laptop or desktop that is good cheap(MAX 850 DOLLARS WITH MONITOR) and can be hackint0shed easly

Oh yeh but with core i7 dont need to mod, just 132 bootloader with dsdt patch override, now for combos check the sticky compare prices a go for it ;D
