icchasan,

you have done a very nice thing – listing those 3 HW combinations for new users... I am new to this and appreciate ability to find what HW should work. Now, I just need that other part of information – where to find installation instructions for any of those 3 combinations?

Thank you for your time

Thank you very much for this list. My Macbook HDD failed last night (second time this has happened in one month! - macbook is 1 yr 2 mnth old...), and I desperately need a new *OS X/Ubuntu* machine for work.

I usually have time to screw around but not at the moment - I really appreciate this list.

Hey Im a little new to the 0sx86 project, But a mac user for 2 decades already! i actualy just bought a G5 case and was thinking of building it up to replace my quicksilver when i thought about psystar and then remembered why i signed up for this site to begin with over a year ago!
Anyway i am thinking of ripping the G5 guts out and modding it for intel q9550, My question is will the asus p5q3 deluxe wifi board work for this type of hack? I saw the regular one does. I want to start this project soon.
And i now have to return alot of the G5 parts i bought.
