Default Any data on a dual CPU Hackint0sh?

apologies if any of this is a repost:

Wondering if anyone has tried or has any bata on creating a dual CPU Hackint0sh using something like a Asus Z7S WS Dual LGA771? What are the issues preventing it?

I'm currently preparing to build my first Hackint0sh and wanted to know if any of the OG OSx86 hackmasters have a preferred mobo for a LAN server? I see icchansan likes Gigabyte but are there any other issues to look out for when it comes to ease of networking? Also since I've never worked on Vista does any one have a preferred Microsoft OS for a home/small office media server or does the Vista Ultimate pretty much cover it?

If anyone would care to comment on the follow hardware arrangement I would be grateful.
Asus P5Q3 Deluxe
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400
Diamond Radeon HD 3870 - 512MB GDDR4
Corsair Dual Channel 4096MB DDR3 1333MH
BTY: This is one of THE most useful, comprehensive geek forms i've ever come across, great job and I hope I can give back at some point.

Yeh theres success with dual CPU Quad Core = 8 Cores, dunno if is better then core i7, but you can check this thread with pics and everything, your combo looks nice, theres guides for those mobos.

Ok so I want to build the "Super Cheap" model, what is the difference between the Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2, and this? That is the closest NewEgg has. Will that board work with Retail?

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-G31M-ES2L LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

Thanks for the advice on distros and retail.

Is this the DSDT Patch for support of multi-core systems you were talking about, icchansan?

Well that didn't make much sense to me There are so many different methods, and stuff floating around Im a bit confused. Neither of those links had the exact board I linked to. And they both used Hacked versions of the Leopard Install DVD. I would like to use the retail disc, since it makes it better/easier for software updates etc...
